Though the earthquake
Rumbles under my feet,
And the earth cracks
With melting heat.
Though the wind
May bend the tree
And snap
With such great force
Though the fire
Comes with intense roar
And scorches in one
Tremendous sweep.
The still,quiet, voice
Is what comes to
Pierce my inner
soul and
the presence of the Lord
Brings me to my knees
Who places my feet
Back to where they need be
To continue His work
With love, joy and peace
Rumbles under my feet,
And the earth cracks
With melting heat.
Though the wind
May bend the tree
And snap
With such great force
Though the fire
Comes with intense roar
And scorches in one
Tremendous sweep.
The still,quiet, voice
Is what comes to
Pierce my inner
soul and
the presence of the Lord
Brings me to my knees
Who places my feet
Back to where they need be
To continue His work
With love, joy and peace
