Hugssssssssss back at ya'!
I have a huge list of people I want to hug...lot's of them my brother's on here, but if I list them they will hunt me down & beat me senseless I think,so maybe best if I don't. lol
Then again...
maybe later. lol
Speaking of hugs, I got the most precious hug ever the other night at work. A lady came in to my job and had her kids with her (I'm a cashier). Both her kids are autistic. They were actually old enough to be adults (low 20's I think) but had the mindset of children 8-12 years old. After I finished checking them out one of them said "Thank you so much for helping us" and gave me a big hug.
She was such a sweetheart, it's the cutest thing I've seen in a long time. She had no concept that hugging a person you just met/barely know or in a business type setting isn't something that you normally do or that it could somehow be unacceptable. Complete innocence.

Jilly, I love you and I love the threads you start! They're always so sweet.*hugs*
There is a lonely man in my Thursday night group who gives really nice hugs. I think I'll call him right now![]()
One of my friends has an autistic daughter who is such a blessing.
Your post reminded me of when my son first started t-ball so many years ago. He was up to bat, hit the ball, ran the bases and was so excited! Our family is extremely demonstrative and affectionate, so when he got back to the bench, he went to hug one of the other boys in his excitement and the boy pushed him off the bench. He had such a puzzled look on his face. He had no clue what he'd done wrong.![]()
Real men hug. Seriously.
