Love is worth waiting for, before he comes knocking at your door; there's the glance from a far, a smile-
Then drawing nearer-
Then commences: teaseing, laughing, poking, joking, flirting-
Then phone calling begins; secret grins on the other end.
Then the first date holding hands, a dinner out for two, a kiss on the cheek at the door, the question for a second, the sparkle in your eyes, a sweet grin as you say, "Sure!"
The second date; a scary movie- he holds you tight, afterwards he walks you to your car; the awkward moment when he leans forward with a question in his eyes and to his surprise you close your eyes to recieve the first, sweet, gentle kiss and that's just the beginning.
The first argument, you can't sleep all night praying, "Jesus, help me do what is right."
Things flourish and deepen-
Trust grows endearing as vularbility opens into confiding and bonding begins.
Then suddenly love moves from a fluttery feeling, into a deep seed inside of you and that seed turns into a lovely rose, a frangrance that only two can know that poor, lonely souls can only watch on the outside and yearn some day to know.
Then finally, it turns into a ring with promise, then a second with a forever kiss before the Pastor, and a night of becoming one that you'll never forget.
Take it slow; love is worth waiting for.
