Yes I’ve done some reading. Not all of it though. I’ve picked it up in different places and eventually fizzled out. I like to start at the beginning, but with the Bible, seeing as it is not just one book, but a collection of books, sixty six to be exact, starting at a different place would be fine. The Gospel of John is a good starting point. Of the all the Gospels, it gives the best explanation of Jesus’s divinity. This is essential to understand all of scripture.

Very definitely the Gospel of John. At the same time you can cross reference everything, to see what John says in relation to other Scriptures. Jesus said "as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness" so you can cross reference that to see what was meant.What is your recommended starting point of the Bible for studying?
