Ezekiel 22:30 And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.

That's a profound lesson for us all, isn't it?

Nehemiah stood up for what was heavy upon his heart. Esther risked her life to stand in the gap. History of people in the past stand out for us, and even the secular world recognizes the import for all to stand up, one for another. The exemplification of this ethic was stated by Christ in Luke 10 concerning the Samaritan man laying along the pathway, beaten half to death by robbers. This video described well a problem both believers and unbelievers possess so much of the time:

We have a crisis of leadership in the world. Far too many are scrambling for leadership positions who are not worthy because of their lack of moral character and strength in their resolve to lead as they would want to be led.

Give to others from the spiritual gifts the Lord has given to you, because the benefit of our gifts from God were not meant for YOU, but for others whose lives you happen to touch or that the Lord brings within your proximity:

Most of the leaders(governmental) of the world must attend to worldly matters which unfortunately involve power struggles, greed and extremes. That's the way it is. Now, the Body of Christ, the Church(true one in Christ) has been given authority by God to overcome the world and share the Gospel. 'Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples' Jn 13:35.

They have self-serving goals while we serve the Lord. We need to keep growing our faith to stand bold and be ready always.

Yes, there are many secularists in governments the world over who will always promote their worldly agendas, even calling good evil and evil good. Nothing new about that at all.

However, because secularists have gained dominance within many levels of governments throughout all time, that doesn't change the fact that earthly government is God's creation and He sanctions the existence of governments irrespective of tyrants and thieves within.

Yes, that's right, the Church should be more involved in picking and praying for our authorities🙏👍
