Hello Everyone!!!
So, We ALL Need to Vent in a Safe Space. I know that I have already, "Taxed", Everyone close to me which is not many. Especially, My own Mother. I was thinking that maybe someone would like to share things on their mind or ask for prayer requests within the group. I will start with something short and simple really. Just not so simple for me as I Pray Constantly. I am asking for prayer requests and or feedback Please. I am struggling the Most with worrying about the future that God has planned for Me even though I know that He Knows Best. I procrastinate with getting my house ready to actually move out even though it is Good News. And I Just received a text last night, And GOD IS GOOD. I Just received a text from my Realtor as I AM TYPING THIS!!!

The Speak Your Mind thread is a safe place to vent and often can be therapeutic. This thread is in the Bible Discussion Forum. This forum can be a hostile place at time so the OP decided to create an oasis of sorts. Friendly, and laid back. Good place to go.

I Just Signed an Amazing Offer for the House!!! 🙌 Right After I Finished this Post! The projected date of closing is around the end of November. I may be looking for an apartment rather than a house for now. And Thank You!

Christian venting eh?

Hmm...

Has anybody else noticed how nasty some "Christian" comedians can be? I don't mean cussing or jokes about sex, I mean how angry and hateful they can be.

I'mma not mention any names, but you've probably seen them.

Ahhh procrastination.
May I ask, is there something in particular that you are avoiding/ wanting to avoid? Or maybe just the fact that the whole task might be feeling overwhelming?
I'm not moving anytime soon (or, at least we don't have any plans to) but I do know what it feels like to procrastinate with most household chores. I have found some very helpful ways to combat this.
Pray about it, tell the Lord "I'm feeling fill in the blank about this task". Ask Him for wisdom and guidance as you go through your belongings. Moving can be a great time to discover all the things lingering about that you don't necessarily need or no longer want. You can designate a box for collecting those things in, and as soon as it's full put it in your car and drop off at a thrift store.
Sometimes, just starting can be the hardest part. I find it helpful to set a timer for 10 minutes and focus on one spot, like the hall closet. When the timer dings, hopefully you'll be past the procrastination point and into a good groove for working; then, if time permits set it again for 10 more minutes and see what you can get done. It can almost be a fun, motivating little game you play with yourself.
And one more fun way to encourage motivation, take pictures as you go along. Think of it as another fun little game. Pick the place the you're going to work on for 10 minutes, snap a photo before you start, then when your timer dings, snap another. It can be fun to compare the before and after shots, and sometimes it helps me see things in the background needing attention that I'd never otherwise notice, but it also helps to compare and see just how much can be accomplished in such a short amount of time.
Oh! And 🎉celebrate! Don't forget to give yourself credit for the work you are doing! (And come back and share with us so we can celebrate with you!)

Exactly, It is really difficult not to Judge and ask. Are they really Christian? Because it does not sound like it...

Thank You, That is Very Nice of You!!!
Actually, The most difficult part is going through my sons childhood things. He was almost 3 Years Old when we moved in this house as a Family and it has been 10 years now He is 13. We had His Third Birthday Party Here and Everyone Came, It was Amazing!!! But, it was more like a House Warming apparently because nobody really ever visited after that. It was really my Ex and I's Fault because we have always been loners and didn't really want people to visit anyway and I Deeply Regret that Now all these Years Later. I am already a very emotional person as it is. So, I cry constantly every time that I even look at things that I have to go through while I am alone in this house. We are Divorced now and I am trying not to cry as I type this. I have already went through and have given away car load after car load. However the Final Stages are Feeling All to Real...

What they mean is, generally people who frequent the Bible Discussion Forum (BDF) are there to feed their pride. So they argue with each other a LOT and get really vituperative.

So they made the Speak Your Mind thread as a kind of chill place in the eye of the storm.

I don't go there much because it's in the (gulp) BDF. I don't generally enjoy getting my whiskers singed. But it seems to be a fairly cool thread.
