Do you have sin in your life that you need to get rid of?
My youth leader taught a lesson about getting rid of sin in your life.there is a country that hunts monkeys with only a gourd,fruit, and a rope. first they tie the gourd to something.then they cut a hole at the top of the gourd and put the fruit in it. Last they leave it and come back the next day. the monkey comes down and puts his hand in the hole,grabs the fruit, and tries to run away. but the problem is the monkey can't get it hand out, because he has made a fist to grab the fruit. the monkey is so stubborn that he will not let the fruit go when the men are approaching it. ...we are like the monkey holding on to our sin, being stubborn, not letting go of our sin, until we get caught in the enimies trap. when we should let it go and give it to God, We just hold on to it...just waiting for the eneimy to creep up and capture us. I urge you to give it to God. The sin in your life, the burdens and greif and shame. Give it to God and let him help you. GODBLESS!!!
