Hey everyone, God bless you all

Since I'm a poet, I like to write tiny stories about God and poems related to Him. (I don't see a particular section for stories, so, I'll make it 2-in-1 here) And not to forget, I'm also an artist, no drawing has been made for Him.. yet. c:

This one was written a week (or so) later after I got saved.

Poem: Under His Wing

I once walked down this path
One day I fell but nobody came to help
I didn’t mind, so I kept just fine
I held back my pride and my wrath

I walked through many obstacles
And was already exhausted
They said it was the proper one
But they have let me down

Then I met this one man
He smiled and told me about love
I got saddened, I knew he’d be gone
But told me to seek him once more

I have fallen once again
I cried for help, no one came
A hand reached out to me
I was too scared even to accept it

Many times that has happened
But then I gave up
This is when the Lord took me under his wing
A Father that loved me like no other

I hope you like it ~♥~

ShyForHim, this certainly is a poem of confession. Confession of falling but even greater, confession of God's tenderness and goodness. I love Psalm 91. This poem reminded me of it.

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust:

God bless you!

Poem: Death

Time to stop
Last moments of love
Close your eyes
The end is nigh

Lie down, now rest
It’s for the best
Time gets slower
The pain is over

“Come with me.” he will say
Grab his hand and walk away
No matter how long you’ll be gone
We’ll see each other soon once more

Story: Part 1: Temptations.

This one day I walked with Him, holding His right hand while glancing around the world. Different things, both good and bad called my attention, but He held my hand firm.

I took a glimpse at my Lord, a gentle smile formed on His lips. “Stay close to me, My child, I do not wish to see you gone.”

I blinked in confusion though I agreed to do so. As we both kept walking, I spotted this one dark figure in the distance. It was a man, his face was covered but I could see a twisted smirk on his lips.

I pointed out to my Father “Look, who is that?” I asked. God shook His head and said “Do not go there.” but it was hard to stay. The curiosity kept bothering me, and for a moment I left His side. God's expression changed, He got saddened, but kept on calling out for me to return.

The man offered me something, and I accepted. My white clothing I had got all dirty and the guilt struck my heart. I could have stayed with the Father, but then I ran off. The man left, leaving me all alone and heartbroken, as the tears rolled down my cheeks. I looked around and Father was there, coming closer to me.

I hid my face from fear and shame, thinking to be punished. “I'm sorry..” I said with a trembling voice. Father just smiled, and grabbed my hands and kissed my forehead. “You are forgiven.” He said softly, the guilt was replaced with joy and relief.

I smiled back, giving Father a sweet hug, for His arms so strong shielded me from all the evil.

Poem: End

Hear me out, my little friend,
You shoud know, the end is near.

Oh, how lovely was the life with You,
My Lord and Savior, I love You too.

Place my body in the crystal river,
Let it drift away, I was Your striver.

As the darkness covers my eyes,
It’s time to live a sleepless life.

My Lord, bright is the path towards You
But not many are able to walk it through.

I’ve been chosen and I’m grateful,
Now my heart is graceful and joyful,

And it’s all thanks to You.
