My wife and I just celebrated our 35th anniversary and we took a trip to Maui. What struck me about the island was its remoteness and beauty. Way out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean is a little island teeming with life. Vegetation, lizards and birds of all kinds. Beautiful sunsets and the relaxing sound of waves crashing on the shore.
How did all these plants and animals get here? This is the middle of nowhere! Of course, God did it.
Now think bigger.
Out on the edge of a galaxy is an insignificant little star with a tiny blue planet. A planet so tiny yet filled with countless life forms and vegetation, occupying a perfect habitat. It is unique all in the universe. Yet God personally knows every creature, down to the lowly sparrow.
How vast are Your ways, oh God
How awesome are You
You give life
You created the heavens and the earth
You created beauty
All creation reflects Your beauty
Your splendor and majesty knows no bounds
Great are You, oh God of all
