So I just found out that I am nine weeks pregnant and the father is telling me to abort the baby. I'm trying to fight the thoughts but sometimes it seems like the most logical thing.....

Under no circumstances should you abort the child that you are carrying. There are other options, adoption for instance. If you get an abortion you will suffer regret and guilt for years to come. The logical thing is to do what is right in the eyes of God. I will say a prayer for God to give you clarity of thought and the courage to do the right thing.

I don't have much advice to give to you because I am not a mother yet...but u know what a baby is a blessing...I know it is not going to be easy but it is going to be worth it...I can say that coz I have little nephews and nieces their tiny little feet yayyy! beautiful! Tell your parents about it they will probably feel upset that you got pregnant but they will understand you. God bless u and the tiny baby in your womb! I will pray for you and the baby as well as the baby's father.

Abortion is never logical, killing an unborn baby never makes sense. It will be difficult, I am sure, but God will help you. Babies are gifts, never mistakes. God bless you.

Sweetheart, You are not alone. You want to be loved. So does this baby. 95% of women who abort regret it, especially as they come to know Jesus. He loves you and wants you to be a Mother. It is not logical. Logic in truth is following Christ. Logos (logic) is wisdom. WIsdom is the Word. Following Jesus is following the Word. Thou shalt not kill is a commandment of that very Word.
Babies are so beautiful. I had two lovely babies and I'd give anything to be a Mother to them again. The truth is I wasn't able to be the Mother I wanted to be. They grew up with family, but not me as I was ill. Don't miss this opportunity. You are a wise woman to ask advice on this question. Take the advice of the ages.

Just for the record, Roe vs. Wade...never gave her baby up for abortion, but gave birth and went on to have more children.

And your relationship will end and no good will come out of it. But if you keep the baby, no matter the outcome of your relationship with the father, you will always have something good: the baby.

I know it's frightening when you're not expecting a baby, but if you're going "logical," then why does destroying Little Sweet Pea seem logical?
I had to face this decision in another way when I was 20. Home pregnancy tests were a new thing back then. I didn't know about them until later. I was raped and had three weeks to think over what I would do, if I were pregnant. I chose logical too. (After the original freak out, of course.) I came to the conclusion it wasn't the baby's fault his/her father was a creep. So the next question was keep the baby or put him/her up for adoption.
My period came three weeks later, so I never had to make that decision. Got to tell you. Even though there was no way I wanted to be in that position, there was still a sense of loss. No baby and a sense of loss. What would your sense of loss feel like?
