UGGGG!

My mom and I just had an argument over phones.

Basically

A couple of days ago she had me pick out two phones one from one side (which would require internet) and one from the other

I chose this one android phone and then this other touch screen phone

I insisisted and insisted on the android which I now realize was super dumb (i already have an ipod with internet)

I came home today and there was this other phone that was neither of my choices

My mom told me they had these phones for 10 dollars and thats why she got them

I cant believe I got so frustrated and angry over a stupid peice of plastic

I am trying to reason with her to get this other one which would be 50 dollars

Saying I will give her the rest of my money (about 13 dollars and the phone would be 40 dollars if we traded in) and that I will try my hardest to do more chorese and such

She says she just felt it was the best deal and thing for our finances but now she is just saying that she chose it and that I shouldnt try to change that

Im gonan prary about this a lot tonight

I dont want to feel like i manipulated her into doing what she didnt want to do just to get what selfish me wants.

Yet I would love this touch screen and would work/help pay for the 50 dollars


HELP!!!!!

I also feel kinda bad that this is anything to be argued about when there are people all around the world suffering :(
 
Cell phones amongst Americans has gotten out of hand I feel. Literaly and figuratively.

I am still talking to her about it lol

I am trying to find a solution that will make us both happy. and that is a good one.
 
Figured it out with mom at least i think

I am keeping this one

and when I make enough money i will switch

That makes us both happy
 
Yep lol. I think God says its ok as long as it doesnt pull me away from him.
 
ah i get in to those kinda of fights with my mom all da time!! take a step back think about it as if you were watching urself on tv. what would you be telling the person on tv. to do?? parents can be really frustrating ik! ..... oh and btw you really dont want the android, lol my dad had one and after a while it got REALLY REALLY REALLY slow! soo if you already have an ipod touch then try and go with something else. haha
 
Yeah I think we got it worked out
Right now I have an LG Saber
and we are thinking about getting
LG Banter Touch
(Thats the one I really want lol)
But we have to wait and decide because to get the rebate or whatever you have to get internet on it for the first three months :p
 
something else you might want to do before getting a new phone is research the ones that are available and that you want. Because the one you want may have a TON of glitches and not be worth it, so if I were you I would look up user reviews online for all the phones you are thinking about.
