People say they want to marry spiritual person to be there husband, if spiritual person is physically not ok(disabled), they think twice, instead of saying no, they say I am praying to god, though they are not OK to marry that person to avoid that they use god.

why not people cant think disable people can lead need nice life, they can lead better life :), many see external appearance instead of internal appearance, so please see internal appearance.

This is not always the case. My father is blind, he has been blind since he was 7 and my mother still married him.

My sister's husband is blind and she still married him.

My neighbor is in a wheel chair for life and his wife still married him.

Love, true love that is can over come anything.

I have met some wonderful people who have willingly and lovingly married physically challenged person. :)

Very good example of Nick Vujicic. He has been an inspiration to many!

Anything is possible with Jesus. ANYTHING.

When one looks at another seeing them through the eyes of Jesus, understanding them and sincerely believing they are a child of God, loved by God, treasured by God...love can happen if God is in it.

Bible says man looks on the outward, God sees the heart.

Personally, I would prefer a relationship with a man (but let me say this, not looking don't feel led to, don't feel the time is now) whose heart is tender, pliable and sincere in the ways of the Lord irregardless of what the packaging looks like. God can move mountains with a couple that is focused on Him, striving to make His will their will.

Having said that, dealing with a physical disability myself...God has to direct my steps with that person, giving me the "okay" if you will for there to be a relationship. God says no...it ain't happenin'. No how, no way.

I say this in all kindness...focus on what you have in Christ Jesus. Your disability DOES NOT define you. It is part of you, but it doesn't define you. If another rejects you solely on that, there's issues there and they aren't yours. God uses all things for His glory. All things. Shine for Jesus so others see Him and not so much your disability. God, if it is His will for your life, will send someone that will help and understand and not see what you see. They will be able to love and see as God directs them to. You will be loved for you and not what you look like, how much money you have, what talents or possessions you own or have.

i understand what you are saying jurez...now if we were to take love out of the equation and say if I had a choice of dating a woman whose body was fully functioning versus dating a woman who lets say was missing half of her body...i honestly would choose to date a woman with a fully functioning normal body. I mean lets say if you had the choice once again putting love out of the picture to marry someone who could function sexually versus marry someone who could not function at a sexually once again i would choose the normally functioning person. I mean unless I was attracted to disabled people for some reason. Now if we place love into the picture. If a woman i loved was disabled and she loved me too yes I would be with her. Definitely. But this is just me.

If anyone has a question about this, they should google David Ring.He is a Pastor that is disabled who is both very anointed.comical and powerful. He loves his life just the way it is.Also just remember just because u think and see someone as disabled our eyes can be blurred,God doesnt see that person who he created as disabled and God sees clearly,2 him he sees the person as his child a treasure, very valuable, important, useful, part of his great plan and so should we,Amen.

I think marrying a disabled person is not a problem in the present world. As lots of people start talking each other without seeing face to face, but when their emotions and thoughts becomes romantic, then none can stop to be united. The other end can be black or white or blind or physically challenged. Nothing stands before love.

Lots of people have not married at 40's even they are good in personality and some good personalities marriage didn't even last for an year. So, marriage is a bond which is made up of Love only, not by physical appearances.

I can say - marrying a mentally disabled is a sacrifice.

I am Deaf and seen so many Deaf people married Hearing people. Especially when they are Christians. More likely Deaf Christians marry their hearing counterpart than non-Christians because of their rebellous ways (Deaf Rights, Deaf Firsts, etc.) I was married to a Hearing woman but it was more than the communication situation. Our divorce was factored by OTHER reasons than communication.

Deaf marrying a Hearing takes a lot more work to communicate than any of people like David Ring or the gentleman without arms and legs who married a nice healthy and nice looking woman. God bless him!

I would marry a Hearing woman no matter what. Just that my future spouse should know ASL because that is what we will have to communicate although I can talk very well like a Hearing person. I do not like it is hard when my ex wife does not sign at all and when out in public, I wanted her to sign but she does not! So, next one should give all of her heart to communicate for me 100 percent as I do for her too! Needs to be 100 percent-100 percent to make marriage works.

And yes someone is correct that God is no respecter of someone. No one is special and no one has no special status. Just blessed such as one went to Heaven alive, some saw Jesus with Moses and Elijah, some were able to heal and bless those who were sick, and one was able to transport from one spot to another as if it was like Star Trek Transporter. Everyone gets a blessing in life when serving God correctly. Just like I mentioned about commandments in another forum topic.

"I can say - marrying a mentally disabled is a sacrifice."

Yes, it is...the normal marriages that we see often than the ones we mentioned here are also full of sacrifices.
Marriage is Responsibility one way or the other.
