I saw them quite a few years ago, unfortunately for them they were opening for Living Sacrifice and Demon Hunter (not a fan but the Clark brothers are practically legends, and they put on a stellar show). There's not to much you can do to keep your head above water with headliners like that.

Never saw LS, would have loved to, especially back in the day (first 3 albums).
I was a DH fan for their 1st 3 as well, after that they started to sound more and more like everyone else and getting softer. But The Triptych was awesome. If you have ever seen the live DVD that came with some copies of the Triptych, i was at that exact show. Woot.
Oh, Sleeper is not bad for metalcore. That style is so overdone and burned out though. It kind of took over, and it seems music has just stopped progressing from there. Normally a style takes over a few years, then another style progresses and takes over. This hasn't happened with metalcore and it really shows a style that has been stretched beyond its limits.

Yeah, it seemed like as soon as Demon Hunter came out Solid State decided all of their bands needed to sound that way, and now they have one or two semi-original bands and all their other bands sound the same. I was with DH up through Storm the Gates of Hell. They had a couple cool moments since then, but for the most part the albums afterwards just dragged.

I just enjoy their screamer, metalcore may be overdone but they're one of the bands that does it right. DH was good, but I agree with the fact that their later albums are starting to drag. Could never get into LS.

Oh Sleeper did have a unique vocalist, very true. That was something fresh
