Hello, My name is Mel Morris. I joined this site to have fellowship with believers like myself who have questions about the bible and want to have bible based answers. I've been a diligent student of the scriptures for about five years. I recently got baptized, yet I still have questions about eschatology, like many deep students of the scriptures. I'm in my 30's and I'm married with two children. I work in a warehouse and have a dog and cat. I speak German, English, and dabble in biblical Hebrew. I'm currently studying various dispensations and the book of Romans. I'd like to have a live chat with someone when the time arises. I hope we all can come to an accurate knowledge of the scriptures for those seeking the Lord in spirit and truth.

Based on your post I believe that you have come to the right place. You might want to check on the Bible Discussion Forum but be forewarned that sometimes the discussion can get a little heated and some of the members are opinionated. The forums are the best venue for chats as the conversation can be in depth and on-going. Depending on the topic, type of post, and time of day you can often get a rapid reply, usually within a couple minutes. Plus, the interaction gives the members a chance to see who you are and what you are about and you can see for yourself about them too, especially with the frequent contributors. Yes, that place can be a bit hostile at times. I don't frequent that forum expecting to really learn anything useful or edifying but it is a high entertainment venue at times. Every time I actually try to contribute my point of view there is always something that takes exception and tries to torch me.
