to chat and/or to encourage and support one another."

Good morning, I work from home and struggle with being alone so much. I find myself turning to inappropriate non-supporting my Christian beliefs chats. Does anyone else struggle with this?

Young lady, bless your heart.
Our life in Christ (which is hidden in King Jesus Christ with Father Yahweh and safe from all evil. Collosians 3) our Walk with and in Christ, our walk in the Spirit of Christ, when genuine or while genuinely seeking (Hebrews 11) is promised to be full of trials and various temptations.
Which by faith,
we pass through,
endure,
and overcome.
So rejoice.
Count it all joy. (James 1) You have been counted worthy to suffer with Him. Of all His many sufferings and sorrows, He suffered most with our our sin, having none of His own of course. And ultimately suffered for our sin.
So again I say Rejoice.

I wish I could find. A good paying work from Joe job… what do you do?

Welcome sister. Discipline is the key. Stay focused on sound doctrine and Jesus. Don't get off course. 1 John chapter 4. There is the holy Spirit, and evil spirits. And false brethren are on the prowl. Looking for opportunity to catch Christian people off guard. False teachers have unclean Spirit. They don't play by the rules. They will use trickery and deception. And there are some false brethren on this forum. As well as good Christian people. Be careful. Take care.

John 15
New International Version

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes[a] so that it will be even more fruitful. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
9 “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. 12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command. 15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. 17 This is my command: Love each other.
18 “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. 20 Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’[b] If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. 21 They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the one who sent me. 22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 Whoever hates me hates my Father as well. 24 If I had not done among them the works no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. As it is, they have seen, and yet they have hated both me and my Father. 25 But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: ‘They hated me without reason.’[c]

Matthew 15
New International Version

15 Then some Pharisees and teachers of the law came to Jesus from Jerusalem and asked, 2 “Why do your disciples break the tradition of the elders? They don’t wash their hands before they eat!”
3 Jesus replied, “And why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition? 4 For God said, ‘Honor your father and mother’ and ‘Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.’5 But you say that if anyone declares that what might have been used to help their father or mother is ‘devoted to God,’ 6 they are not to ‘honor their father or mother’ with it. Thus you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition. 7 You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you:
8 “‘These people honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.
9 They worship me in vain;
their teachings are merely human rules.’
10 Jesus called the crowd to him and said, “Listen and understand. 11 What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.”
12 Then the disciples came to him and asked, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?”
13 He replied, “Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. 14 Leave them; they are blind guides. If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.”
15 Peter said, “Explain the parable to us.”
16 “Are you still so dull?” Jesus asked them. 17 “Don’t you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? 18 But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them. 19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. 20 These are what defile a person; but eating with unwashed hands does not defile them.”

There's a new study out today about those who work from home....

Those who work from home love it, are generally happier, more productive, and generally more balanced with work life balance.
However, most managers hate it and do not like it. They want the employees to return to an office to be more controlling over the lives of their workers.

In my church there have been several SAHM that have gone back to work now that their children have grown up. One a schoolteacher who was homeschooling several children for money....another is a RN who began to work at the local hospital again. They are struggling in their roles but doing their jobs well enough.

My wife's assistant likes being in the office. We live in another state away from where the office is located. But let's be clear, not only does my wife's assistant make half of what my wife does....she also spends a good sized portion of her income and time each day going to the office with clothes, lunches, and commute time in a vehicle. Its 2 hrs each way. Meaning 4 hrs of her day is spent commuting to the office plus an hour of shower, clothes, makeup, and hairstyling to get ready. Just to work 8 hrs in a VERY distracting office facing innumerable interruptions. All total 13 hrs of her day is consumed by that office job. She gets 3 hours to spend with family or on shopping for clothes, food, dishwashing, feeding pets, laundry or whatever else.
And truthfully she doesn't get much work done either.

I'm retired, and I'm the interruptions in my wife's day. Kinda....I wish I had the excuse of going to work every day because I wouldn't have so much to do around here. I've done blown up and bagged 18 bags of leaves this week.....only a dozen more to go, got painting on the house started, need to fix the porch railing, got sandwich bread baked yesterday and it needs slicing and freezing....still working on the Christmas tree, I need to make pie crust for the apple pies and rolls for next week. Pull the turkeys from the freezer to thaw and do a general cleanup of the house for the 40 people coming for Thanksgiving. All this will start after I get my wife's breakfast made.

Trust me when I think you got it made in the shade.
