For the 17 year old daughter of one of my pastors (and their family). Earlier today Elsie went into full cardiac arrest (she's 17). It took EMS and hospital staff over an hour to get her heart pumping again on it's own. At the last update that I got she was flown up to Denver Children's Hospital and had not regained consciousness.

Still praying. Any additional news about or prayer requests for Elsie, @Oncefallen?

Thanks!

I was planning on updating, I just got home from work.

For reasons that her family, and extended church family will not understand this side of heaven, the Lord decided that it was time for her to meet Jesus face to face last night. Needless to say, continued prayer for her parents and siblings (she was the oldest of six) as they grieve and for the church body as we grieve with them.

From what I understand she had gone out for a walk alone and collapsed somewhere on the path so no one knows how long she had been in cardiac arrest before a stranger found her.

Prayers for family, I have a daughter in glory with many family and also four nieces and/or nephews and a brother or sister I haven't met yet. Yes God only knows on some of these things and we just must trust His ways.

Oh my. So sorry to hear that Once fallen.
It's got to be the toughest day of that family's life. They certainly need God's grace...praying.

I am sorry to hear that.
Did she have a weak heart that's unusual to hear in someone so young.
Prayers for the family.
