Monique, welcome to CC. We need to encourage one another in the use of the gifts that God gave us.
I checked out your music and the intro video. You have a good voice and a blend of styles that is marketable, if that is where you are heading. I started in recording, booking and publishing some years back when I had formed a Christian Contemporary Group. We were on the road for several years. I was previously in Christian and secular radio and TV. So for a professional critique: I like a lot of what you're doing. Your accompaniment, whether tracks or electronic, needs to be cleaned up just a bit. Your mix should be adjusted. The instrumentation is a bit strong and the voice too weak. The drums/rythms are too strong. The beat sounds like it's intended to be an off rythm beat and that works, but also overpowers the vocal. Accepted styles today are heavy on instruments qand rythm. But your voice is soft/mellow. I would love to hear a remake with those slight adjustments.
If your desire is to launch out in a singing ministry, you have what you need to do it. I love what you said about your Husband encouraging you to record. It's important that the spouse is in sync (no pun intended) and supports using your talent. Keep doing what you're doing. The more recording you do, the better it will get. If you ever decide to really get out in concert ministry and have a repertoire, keep me posted. I may be able to get you a few bookings.
Keep serving Him and God bless your music!
