We thank you that you are not a God who is distant and uncaring, but One who is a very near and present help. And it is both your presence and help we desire for our brother. Be pleased Father to draw nigh and remove the yoke that currently binds him, and also use this occasion to make Yourself more fully known to him. May he come to taste and see how good You are, and have made known to him the fulness of Your affection for him. May all this redound to his great good, and to the praise of Your grace and the glory of Thy great Name.

I too have been there my friend. Even so bad for self commitment but I have found God is standing by for our plea of help, ready to send in legions of angels for our peace.....he will rescue you.

I might know how you feel.
I about lost it too when I got a text that my mother had fallen out of a high rail bed in the hospital last night, having a breathing tube and stomach tube, frail body and learned that she hit her head. As she is trying to recover from MRSA Pneumonia. I called the hospital and the nurse or desk across from her room hung up and put the phone off the hook as it rang. My brother wouldn't even call me, but would only send a text until I got through to him.
I had no sleep the night before and none last night. I can't sleep and need it badly now in spite of exhaustion. There's a number of other details I won't bore anyone with, but when it rains it pours sometimes. It's especially tough when it involves people we love. I hope your situation doesn't involve those loved ones.
The Lord is our strength and knows our weaknesses. I'm reading the Psalms which helps a lot. There are many people who have been encouraging here too.
I pray that you experience much grace in this time of need.
