Hello @AutumnBreeze, here are a couple of suggestions:

~Bruchko: The Astonishing True Story of a 19-Year-Old American, His Capture by the Motilone Indians and His Adventures in Christianizing the Stone Age Tribe: Olson, Bruce: 9781591859932: Amazon.com: Books (this is an autobiography by missionary Bruce Olsen, but WOW, what a page-turner .. it reads like an exciting novel, but thing is, the entire, incredible story is true :))
~The Screwtape Letters read online free by C. S. Lewis - Novel12 - this book (actually, it's a collection of short stories that Lewis read on the radio in the 1940's) is fiction, but its importance lies in all that it helps us understand about the world that we live in as Christians, including the invisible realm that we, obviously, cannot see (it helps us understand what Satan and his demons are up to/how they operate in our lives and why, as well how to recognize their attacks for what they really are, far more quickly).

The Screwtape Letters is Christian classic and another page-turner that can be read for free online at links like the one above.

God bless you!!

~Deuteronomy (David)

Hello again @AutumnBreeze, I should have also mentioned that Lewis wrote The Screwtape Letters from the demons POV, which makes it unique among the other Christian classics. So, when you see the word "Enemy" (for instance) in The Screwtape Letters, remember that it is referring to God instead of Satan.

Reading the preface will help (y)

~Deuteronomy (David)
p.s. - if you don't mind buying the book, I recommend the following edition as it has a LOT more information about the book from Lewis & others, as well some other material about Lewis himself.

Thank you, David, for that specific book mention! I will be ordering that book next.

Cinder, I'm looking for anything. Right now I'm finishing up C. S. Lewis' Mere Christianity and Wurmbrand's Tortured for Christ. I tend to jump around genres, though.
Fiction/nonfiction, mystery, biographical--really anything :)

Well let's see. In the allegorical fantasty category there's of course the chronicles of narnia and I also really like Karen Hancock's Guardian king series (first book is light of eidon). Also for themes of virtue and honor and good stuff like that Jeff wheeler writes about those a lot, I think my favorites are the muirwood and kingfountain series but his books do seem to get kind of repetitive after a while.

For Christian Sci-fi try the chronicles of sarco (starting with Edge of oblivion) by Joshua Johnston and CS Lewis' space trilogy.

Historical Biblical fiction I really like the Thoene AD chronicles ( starting with first light), Paul L Maier's Pontius Pilate and Flames of Rome, and Gene Edwards First Century diaries series (starting with The Silas Diary).

Other Historical fiction / period romance would be most of George Macdonald's novels that aren't trippy fantasy stories (just beware the use of the Scots dialect it can be a bit of a slog till you get used to it), Liz curtis higgs has done two series The lowlands of scotland which parallels the story of Jacob in the bible, starting with Thorn in my heart and one based on Ruth called here burns my candle (which I haven't read, but should be good).

And in non-fiction I think my favorite Christian authors are Mark Buchanan and Philip Yancey pretty much anything either of them have written is pretty good.
