I came home from an outing today. As always, I checked my computer for new emails etc. I'm also keeping tabs on the Israel/Iran war. But not today. My computer refused to start up. I checked a few things. I saw that we'd had a mains power failure sometime during the day. I turned off the power to the computer completely and turned it back on. Nothing. So I surmised a dead power supply. I was sleep deprived so I went for a short nap. A quiet voice whispered, turn off the power and leave it off. I've learned to trust this voice. So I did. About an hour later, I tried the computer again. And here I am.

Logic and reason argued that the power supply had failed due to the mains power failure. I know electronics and I know that power surges can be damaging to electronics. God knows what we do not. Life is so much easier when we are led by the Spirit, even in the mundane things of this life. I still miss things and get it wrong, usually because I'm distracted and too noisy in myself. Events like today remind me how important it is to stay in tune with the Spirit. If we can do that in small things, we will be better equipped when we face major issues and decisions.

Logic and reason says that physical death is irreversible.
But Christ raised Lazarus from the dead and raised Himself too.

So this means that when we’re dealing with God we have to throw logic and reason out the window, because Faith is what He requires of us. Just a little faith.

Small faith the size of the mustard seed can move mountains - Christ said.
We don’t even have that.
