Hello all. I am unsure if I am a Christian or not. I know I believe in God and His blessings and that He has a plan for my life and everything that happens in it but I don't go to church barely at all. I have a daughter now and want her to be brought up right. I just need some positive Christian friends I guess but it's really hard for me to make friends. Well if anyone thinks they can help me in any way I would like to hear what you have to say.
 
Hi Joyful_woman, welcome to this site. It is only my second day as well. I know the feeling about not having any christian friends. When i first became a christian i found it hard to go up to people at church and talk because of trust problems that i had. i prayed to God to give me good christian friends, and in the space of a month, i had 5 really good God given friends and 2 years later I have some many it costs a bomb for all there Christmas cards lol. God loves to bless us and give us our hearts desire, so all you have to do is pray for christian friends and you will have them. He will bless you more than you can imagine

I would also say do try and find a church that you are comfortable with because at church you will grow in your faith and love for God. You will also find christian friends there who you can trust with anything. If there is something that I have learned as a christian is that you cant be on our own because that is when the devil comes in an plants seeds of doubt and will try to take us away from God. Be round people that are full of the Holy Spirit so they can encourage you and help you grow in power and in faith!!!

When ever i talk about God i just get so excited i could bounce and jump around in my underwear lol. Don't be scared, king David of Israel worshiped God in his underwear in front of his servants and they thought he was wacko Joe as well:) I hope that you do find some great friends. I would be your friend if i could but I'm all the way in England but we can be friends on this site if u like. Any way enough writing. my fingers r hurting so better go.

Thank you for your reply. I am willing to take any friends I can have right now. It's really hard for me to make friends. Maybe my expectations are to high or something. I mean, friendship is supposed to be a two way street right. You are both supposed to give of yourselves. Is it really a friendship if one person makes all the effort?

Anyway I accept the offer of friendship if you meant it.

Also about church, maybe I'm just making excuses but I am married and I feel awkward going to church without my husband. He does not go to church much because of a bad experience he had when he was younger. He did go to a church with me a couple weeks back for the first time and said it was alright but it's not something he wants to do on a regular basis.

Hi! I am MayMay..I am a christian. I have two awesome children, boy and girl. I am 28, very very happily married to my best friend. I love music, I play several different insturments. I love to sing but I dont do it in public (LOL).:)
 
Im not really new. I used to chat on here all the time when I was younger. In like 2001.
