at my school, there are no Christians. Obviously i have my Church and Youth friends, but i would love some online Christian friends who i can talk to and pray with and stuff, i dont really know how to use this yet but if you want, message me?

I don't believe this for a second. It's one thing to claim that you don't like any of the Christians at your school but to claim that there's literally none is absurd. Christians make up 70+% of the population. There's no school in the US that doesn't have at least a dozen or so

Do you realize anyone can slap the title 'Christian' on themselves? There are many people who associate themselves as Christians, but are living a life no different than that of a non-Christian. It's one thing to call yourself a Christian... it's another to live your life as one.

Yes and I'm sure many would call you the wrong kind of christian. And a protestant would call them non christians. And a pentacostal would call them non Christians. And then the southern Baptist calls them both non Christians. You see the problem here? It's true that the overarching term christian isn't enough to accurately describe someone but at the same time there really isn't any way to describe the one true christian. For me and most of the people out there a Christian is someone who believes in god and the story and divinity of Christ. And people like that make up 70% of the population.

denominations are simply simple things that they disagree with such as a baptist focusing on the preaching and the Pentecostal focusing on the gifts. All demonstration all agree on the major criteria.

Anybody can say they are an atheist...but does that make them one? Anybody can say they are santa....but does that make them santa?
 
I think you guys missed the little detail that she's from England. If what I hear is true about Europe nowadays, it wouldn't surprise me at all if she were the only Christian in her entire school. Is it likely? Not really. But in the face of such hostility from Atheists, if there are any they're probably not too open about it.

On the flip side, Beth, you're in the perfect situation to reach out to those far from God. I wish you the best; stay strong!

TRUE !!! I am from France and...i can tell you Christianity is dying big time...the ones living out their faith are the muslims... Europe is becoming completely liberal !!

You are not alone. We Christians are too often misunderstood or ignored, for we are not of the world, and the world knows us not. We sheep stick to the pack though, others be dammed. Do not stray out of the pack, so the wolves find you a good meal. We welcome you as one of our own, and if a wolf does come, it will have to come through me, to get to you. I've got your back. Again, welcome!
