I can see the lights of Glory
Just beyond that great big hill
I feel the love of Jesus
To me it is so real

We're so close to going home now
Heavens right outside the door
I ask my Lord and Savior
What needs to be done, what more?

His eyes of love fall on me
As He gives His sweet reply
Tell others I am coming
I don't want anyone to die

You're just this side of Heaven
There's a work that you must do
Spread the gospel message
I love and want to save them too

So as we work for Jesus
Showing them the way
We're just this side of Heaven
When we hear our Savior say

Well done my faithful servants
You've served and done your best
Come enter into Heaven
Your home now you can rest.
 
I am so glad I posted the words here as I thought I had lost them to a song I wrote to my friend Kathy who was dying from cervical cancer and found the words posted here....Thank you God for having me put them somewhere I could find......
