Job 42
He understood what God was telling and immediately asked for forgiveness
God also told his friends that he was angry with them and they need to offer 7 bulls (male cows) and 7 rams (male sheep). As a burnt offereing and after Job praying they will be forgiven
God restored Job and gave him double portion of his possession

Satan couldn't oppose God's mercy, and God's mercy to Job came after he prayed for his friends rather than while he was disputing with his friends and complaining. The Lord is pleased with our devotions but not with quarrels/arguments. How good is God to bless Him doubly in the end! Job never gave up, like so many others in the bible. It reminds me of Galatians 6:9, "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
