Don't just take my word on this but.. I don't remember reading anything on kissing in the bible. However it does say to stay away from things that make you sin. Some people can control themselves and others can't. I personally see nothing wrong with kissing but if you feel that's going to cause you to do more than I'd suggest not kissing. A friend of mine is waiting until her and her fiancés wedding day to kiss for the first time. Honestly alot of people have different opinions on this matter.

God tells us to turn from sin. Sometimes we have to decide if we are strong enough to say no to something more. Kissing isn't bad.. It's what kissing can turn into that is. Personally, I wouldn't even think about it right now if I were you. Learn and study your bible. See what it says then make a decision for yourself.

I dont have any bible verses. But to suggest you can't show any signs of affection (and I would have thought kissing or hugging are basic signs of affection) - well to me thats like you have to be some distant machine who has to constrain themselves from any physical expression of love. Its almost like we are asking - is expressing our love physically in any way dirty or will God hate us for it. To me love is what life is all about. Its what makes us human. Is what God expresses to us. To me being held or kissed or just having your face touched is a loving thing.
That said I have like ZERO experience with this so...theres that lol
Actually i'm not planning on kissing someone right now because i'm not in a relationship with anyone and my parents forbid me to do that so i have to obey them. I'm just curious because it almost never happen in my country, while in some countries it happens a lot. Anyway, thank you so much for the answers.

About kissing. I would personally avoid french kisses because french kissing just feels too intimate for me, intimacy then leads to sexual activities. You know, the thoughts that you get while kissing like that. Been there. And the Bible tells us that sexual activity outside of marriage is a sin.
Now if I wanted to show affection, then I would prefer a cheek kiss, or a quick peck on the lips. They won't really bring up any intimate thoughts and would be purely for affection. But you need to think about the person your gonna kiss as well, what if a quick peck would bring up the wrong thoughts for them? Then that turns us into someone who stumbled them, that's wrong again. So you need to be careful about this. Before you kiss, ask yourself, why are you doing it? Is it right for the other person too? Would this bring glory to God? Those will help you out.
