Is it a sin to kiss your girlfriend ?

Kissing? No. The intentions behind it could be. Make sure that your heart is in the right place, and that it's not solely driven by hormones.

i wholly agree with the previous comment made about intentions, you control your thoughts and thoughts turn into actions and your actions eventually shape your character.

hmm i think it is. i use to think it wasnt till i saw the christian film click here YouTube - Pamelas Prayer - Trailer watch that video. it sorta makes since, yeah i don't think im gonna kiss till the day in marriage because if its just boyfriend and girlfriend it isnt for certain.
 
What are you thinking as you kiss her? It all depends on the motive.
 
kiss? generally i believe not, depending on intentions. it would become a sin if you let it lead to other forms of touching and sex before marriage...

You are right about bf/gf not being for certain, however kissing doesn't have to be that big of a deal. Waiting on sex is fine, but waiting on kissing isn't necessary and kissing shouldn't really be made out to be bigger than it really is. Doesn't mean it can't be special, but it doesn't need to be a HUUUUUUUUUGE deal.

I agree. If you are kissing for some sexual pleasure then you should not do it. If you are kissing because you really really like the girl then go for it. When it happens that way you won't even think about sex. It's like you get lost in the "chemistry".
 
Everyone has different opinions about this and some people I think will want to wait for marriage before they kiss and other people won't. I think before you go into a relationship with someone you need to set boundries and be clear on what you want for yourself and what you know you want to wait for. Find someone who agrees on this with you :) Kissing isn't called a sin in the bible. But the temptation it can lead to can be. Just put God first. Pray lot's and remember to trust and have faith that he will help you through any trials and temptations you go through.

The simple act of kissing is not a sin. However, the place where your heart lies could lead to sin quicker than you know. When you kiss her, is it to show affection or to try to calm physical desires. You need to be careful. If you're feeling tempted when you kiss her, it could lead to lusting and other sinful things. I wouldn't advise you to go beyond kissing either. Making out can lead to much stronger desires and cause you to sin before you even realize how tempted you have become. Better safe than sorry if you want to have a true Christian relationship. (:
