Hey, I'm Laura. I'm a Christian teenager. I wasn't raised like this but I feel a strong pull to Baptists from listening to youtube sermons and stuff. I guess I have a number of questions where I am a bit confused and/or less certain and I hope to make a few friends while I'm here and I'll look around for threads maybe ask some questions at some point.

I don't really live in a very Christian friendly place, so it's special for me to have somewhere online.

Sorry to hear that you don't really live in a Christian friendly place..it must make you feel alone spiritually sometimes but at least you have this to help you feel a sense of deeper belonging.😊

Actually, this is indeed a very Christian friendly place and it's great to have you onboard with us. I have attended quite a few Baptist church services and found their content to be very much aligned with the bible. Glad to have you onboard with us. Welcome to CC.

There are many threads here you could find out more about following Christ. There is also a general thread called The Chat Thread where you can just start general conversation you could ask people questions or talk as well. I hope this helps.

Hello and welcome to CC, Laura! Don't be a Baptist or anything else but a Christian. That is what Jesus and all the Bible people were, and that is the way it will be in the future. I have tried just about all of them. I have learned that the best teachers are the Bible, the Holy Spirit, and fellowship with sisters and brothers like you and me. We are the real Church. We are your real family in Christ.

I personally love to talk about Jesus and the Written Word. You can ask or speak right here and now to me if you want to.

Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Is it possible to start a little Bible Study where you are at? It sounds like they need one.
