I do appreciate and grow from his teaching when I see it, I am just led to a different teacher right now, I think the Lord moves us around as we grow in Him.
I am currently using his devotional book " Into His Presence" everyday. I love watching his teachings on Youtube.

I think he does well compared to the majority of Televangelists........... there are others who do well also........but I don't watch habitually.
I was exposed to quite a few of Charles Stanley's teachings earlier on in my Christian walk; I did enjoy him and so recommend him to others, also 
The time of his radio program coincided either with my drive to work, or the times I was able to listen while working If I were to recommend anyone now, it would be Dr John Neufeld of the Back To The Bible Canada Christian ministry. He is a solid teacher who spends the majority of teaching time in Scriptural exegesis, as opposed to telling quaint stories peppered with Bible verses.

I have listen to him in the past with some frequency. But not anymore and for many many years. The reason being that there is a zero in the way of exegesis, eschatology and Bible teaching.
A lot of empty talk with no substance in my opinion.

Even now, in reruns, his sermons are head and shoulders above 99% of those on TV today IMO....

I love my church, the pastors are dedicated to their works, literally. They are in church everyday for over 16 hours. They even hold services on Christmas day, and they stay away from their families. They do not have children even though they have wives. its really inspiring.
