Here is the Scripture:
“Because you have obeyed my command to persevere, I will protect you from the great time of testing that will come upon the whole world to test those who belong to this world.
 
Jesus was comending the church for there perseverance. The hour of temptation is a reference to the tribulation. He promised to take them out from it.

Yes it does elude to this . At the time it was written there was alot of turmoil leading up to the 70 ad advent. But the wording in this scripture is to take out in its correct translation.

The hour of temptation is that when the system of the beast is enacted in which all who are not written in the lambs book of life shall worship/adore the dragon, the beast, and the beasts' mouth (the little horn, the false prophet, a.k.a. the Antichrist). Apparently, the dragon, the beasts' and his mouths system will be very tempting to participate in. A hedonistic utopia, as in the days of Noah, and as in the days of lot.

Revelation 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Since I use the KJB, I will quote from that translation: Because thou hast kept the word of my patience* [patient endurance], I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation** [trial or testing], which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

Usage: (a) trial, probation, testing, being tried, (b) temptation, (c) calamity, affliction.

As you can see, the translation you have used has altered the meaning of hupomone. It is not "perseverance" but patiently waiting for, or patient endurance (which is not the same thing). Which means that modern translations should not be trusted.

However, testing is correct, and is equivalent to trial or probation. While this message was to the church at Philadelphia in the first century, "the hour of testing" is actually a reference to a specific period of time in the future (not an hour of 60 minutes). Most interpreters apply it to the Tribulation period since (1) it will come upon the whole world and (2) it will come upon those who dwell on this earth at that time.

The verse is telling Christians that those who patiently endure their trials and tribulations on earth will not be subject to that unique time of testing, which is also a time of divine judgments as well as the wrath of Satan. Which means that the Church will not be subject to either the Tribulation or the Great Tribulation. Which also means that the Resurrection/Rapture will occur before the Tribulation.

Why? Because God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation. Noah and his family were safe in the Ark when the Flood came upon all those who dwelt on the earth. Lot and his family were dragged out of Sodom before God sent His fiery judgments on Sodom and Gomorrah.

You would have to prove that.
Because I see in Mathew 24, after the tribulation he will send angels to gather his people from the earth,
In revelation, I see the command to not harm those with the seal of Christ,
And a sea of people who came through the tribulation. I also see those who don't take the mark of the beast, who would only do so because they believe in Jesus.

Have you looked at my evidence in the why pre trib is and why it has to take place?

People only see what they choose to see. Since the Rapture has always been imminent, the promise is implied. But today too many Christians want everything to be stated explicitly. And that is not exactly how God communicates with men.
