In Rev 3:10, the Hour of Temptation is referred to. I have read some ideas on it but can't still quite grasp what it is and the reason for it? I'd appreciate some help with this
!
Would that be the Rapture this is referring to?Jesus was comending the church for there perseverance. The hour of temptation is a reference to the tribulation. He promised to take them out from it.

Since I use the KJB, I will quote from that translation: Because thou hast kept the word of my patience* [patient endurance], I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation** [trial or testing], which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Here is the Scripture:
“Because you have obeyed my command to persevere, I will protect you from the great time of testing that will come upon the whole world to test those who belong to this world.
I see no scripture promising a rapture prior to tribulation, what I see is a promise to preserve us through it.
What's the difference?I see no scripture promising a rapture prior to tribulation, what I see is a promise to preserve us through it.
Escapism vs enduranceWhat's the difference?
You would have to prove that.It is hinted in scripture but is for sure in God's word in his appointed times.![]()
You would have to prove that.
Because I see in Mathew 24, after the tribulation he will send angels to gather his people from the earth,
In revelation, I see the command to not harm those with the seal of Christ,
And a sea of people who came through the tribulation. I also see those who don't take the mark of the beast, who would only do so because they believe in Jesus.
People only see what they choose to see. Since the Rapture has always been imminent, the promise is implied. But today too many Christians want everything to be stated explicitly. And that is not exactly how God communicates with men.I see no scripture promising a rapture prior to tribulation, what I see is a promise to preserve us through it.
Being protected/kept during the Hour of Temptation sounds good to me, however our Perfect Heavenly Father will do it.Escapism vs endurance

My thoughts exactly.Being protected/kept during the Hour of Temptation sounds good to me, however our Perfect Heavenly Father will do it.
No but I have read Mathew, and Thessalonians, and the Revelation.Have you looked at my evidence in the why pre trib is and why it has to take place?
Yeah, those who endure to their end, are those saved.Escapism vs endurance
