Hey everybody!

My name is Johanna, I`m 15 years old and live in Germany. This year in August I will do an exchange on the USA for half a year. I will do that with the german organization "Kompass-Sprachreisen". Their american partners are called "P.I.E". Maybe you know them??
I get the family from the organization, but they cant promise anything, so it could be, that my family is terrible or...
So I decided to search for the perfect family for my own. It would be so great to have a family, in which there is a girl in my age! We could go to school together.. :)

Hi Johanna, I forwarded your posting to the youth program director at the church. You know the program you liked?? I am waiting to hear back from them. You might hear from the too. :)
 
I met 2 of my 'cousins' thrugh a foregin exchange program. One was from brazil, and the other from Germany. There was a third boy from Korea, but i didn't really get to know him cus he moved. I'm going to Brazil this summer to visit one of my 'cousins'.

So you asked the chruch program director?? I dont understand this..:) And what did you ask me? I didn`t understand this question..:)

Hi Johanna, I think I am going to step away from the network here for a while. So if you need to contact me you have my email. Yes, you should submit the comment. You could state that you are interested in California and looking for a christian family who may have a young lady your age. I contacted the church and submitted a request to search for the type of situation you wanted. They have your email and will contact either one of us. You can still continue to look for a family of your choice since you have a lot of time left and the organization did not seem to have any problems with it. If you need to know more about how they set up guardianship you can ask the woman I sent you the info about. You can also look at the links I gave you to network. If you need anything else feel free to email me k. I hope you find the family your looking for.

Did the youth ministry contact you? Were you able to get set up with one of the families? Please send an email and let me know.
 
Johanna: Haloooooooooooooo! If you can tolerate a tiny town in North Carolina I could contact my church and see if they have a potential host family. God knows there's a stampede of kids out the door for youth ministry before the sermon begins...

Yes Merryheart..she is going through a organization that does a full screening.
