In fact I'm the only one here who is here. All the rest of you are there. If you were standing two feet away from me you would still be there.

Howdy and welcome to the forum. The fun places to hang out are currently miscellaneous, family and singles (which has evolved into a chill place for both single and married folks to hang out and chat.)
The places it is recommended to avoid are currently Bible Discussion Forum, Christian News and Conspiracy, as all three of those forums are just chock full of people who like to argue. A lot. Like, they probably wear out a keyboard per week arguing with each other.
I hope you enjoy your time here, and I look forward to your comments on whatever thread topics prick your interest.

I was expecting you to say something like "What's wrong with the other questions? You're not reading the bible lately?" or something. I had an answer locked and loaded:
"It's not that I have any reason to AVOID the other questions. I just lack any reason TO answer them. I don't have any impetus against those questions, but neither do I have any motivation to answer them." Or something like that.
But now I can't deliver a scathing answer because you refused to be argumentative. Bleh!
How's a guy supposed to be a smart aleck if newbies won't argue?

Nah, a lynx isn't vicious. Tigers, they'll attack you. Can't get away from a cheetah. But you'll probably never know a lynx is in the neighborhood. I live on a back road, but I live at one end of a long straight stretch of back road. People come around the curve and just HAMMER the gas pedal. I've lost some cats to cars.
I have decided if I ever have a cat again, here, I will get a litter. If one survives to adult, I'll get attached.
But yeah, I wish I had a cat. When I was a kid we always had at least one cat. Sometimes four.
Oh man, I've lost multiple cats too throughout life and it sucks. Well at least you get to pretend to be one on here
