I need help. i am fading from christ, not like other times. i am getting to were i am starting to question my faith...

Why have you got this feel? Can I help you? (I need a talk too.) :)

I went from a black soul to clean with trials. Then I started dropping back into the gray, and now I'm trying to dig my way out again.
Its a struggle to keep on the straight and narrow, I know how you feel.
We just have to do our best and try to overcome trials, With God, ALL things are possible.

I have known other people who were in the same position as you and I always advice them to just pray and pray and pray until you feel close with God as the devil is always trying to mess with God's people but God is stronger if you put your trust in him.

prayer and worship. its hard to start but make CDs and playlists that are ONLY worship music. listen to it for a week straight. ONLY worship music. i promise your life will change. >_<

I would try asking the Holy Spirit to come into your life to help bolster your spiritual walk; He will help you feel more "plugged-in". Also ask Jesus to renew your relationship and make it fresh again. Stay in prayer and the Word. It's very important to be real with God during this time. Tell Him what you are feeling; He's a big God and can handle whatever we throw at Him (He made us, after all). Is it a particular influence in your life that is drawing you away from Christ? Renounce and avoid it, if possible. Stay strong, and remember all that Jesus has done for you. God Bless.

feel the same

Spiritually sick.

But worship music helps..I was playing In Christ Alone today and couldnt get through it..........He's too strong for us to consider falling..cos Hes God. Just keep Him close and think about His Greatness. praying for you

I feel the same way man. It is like the world and just about everyone around me is telling me that my beliefs are wrong. It also makes me feel like im weird and not normal bc i dont act the same, and do the same things as other people.

''When life brings you to your knees, remember, your in the perfect position to pray!''

Pray to Jesus for help.

May Jesus bless you.

“You’re blessed when your commitment to God provokes persecution. The persecution drives you even deeper into God’s kingdom.” Matthew 5:10 (MSG)
“It is through many persecutions that we must enter the kingdom of God.” Acts 14:22.
“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong” 2 Cor. 12:9 – 10

“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. If they persecuted me, they will persecute you.” John 15:18-20

Go back to where your faith began, was it childrens church? Then go, they will welcome you. Find your old faith friends, look at your old Bibles, ask people what you were like when you were a kid. Jesus wants the children to come to Him. Call to Jesus, He will help you. Pray really hard.

What you're hearing is Satan calling you & he wants you to not hear anything else but him. Rebuke his tricking, you're smarter than he is. You know the right thing to do, follow your faith. God bless you.

First I want to say, and as you can gather from other posts, you are not alone in your feelings. I have experienced the struggle, even the outrigth desire to just go back to my old life. I had to make hard choices and some of them are suggested above. I cut out all things from my life that were not edifying me. #1 T.V. - ouch, but very helpful. I went my 1st 2 1/2 years being a Christian w/out T.V. and it was easy not to miss it because I filled it with the things of God. #2 - music. I got rid of all things that were not edifying in some way. #3 Internet - completely had to made the right choices on what I was going to look at, even some Youtube channels I had subscribed to I chose to stop watching because although they were funny, there were not contributing to me in a good way.

In the end, it's all about choices. What is it that you want. It is a choice to love and serve God or not. He wants you to choose Him, but you are the one who gets to make that decision, God won't force Himself on you.

When He feels a million miles away, stand on the fact that He says He will NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU, so even if you don't FEEL His presence, you can still BELIEVE - again it's a choice.

God Bless You, I hope you choose HIM
