hello. I am a fourteen year old Christian child. My parents for years have made me go to a strange school. All of my friends believe in abortions and homos. What can I do to convince them that they're wrong?!? I've tried showing them the lords truth, and they dismiss it as just religious stuff. Help?!?!

​Abortion, which is murder, and homosexuality, which is a sin in God's eyes and just plain unnatural, are spoken of in the bible as things not to indulge in. You have tried telling them the truth of the bible, and they still don't believe. Pray for them to have their eyes opened to the truth, then shake the dust off your feet, as Jesus says to do with unbelievers, and move on. :)

My friend its all part of being a Christian. A lot of times ppl will not listen to the truth and sometimes the truth offends them. Look at it this way how often was Jesus seen as a liar, a hypocrite or a blasphemer? If you know the bible the answer is a majority of the time so your in good company. It doesn't sound like your losing your faith your faith is only being shaken which can easily be fixed by seeking God in a quite place
 
There's nothing you can do to MAKE them believe in God; And nothing you can do to get them to not believe in, and partake in, the activities they are. You have reached out and preached the Gospel to them, that's about all you can do. Something you'll realize is that you're never going to be able to FORCE someone to believe. Simply carry on with your on FAITH and continue to live for the Lord. You can't allow them to cheat you out of your eternal life. You have to work on your OWN faith if its that's shaky. And I don't mean that in an insulting way either.

I will pray for you, and I will pray for them, too. And I strongly suggest you continue to seek God, and pray for them.
 
Maybe it helps to write it down. Write down what you believe. Why you believe. Opinion about abortus and homos. When you have your mind clear. You could convince peepl. Success! God Bless! Pray for ya
 
I believe one entertaining thing to do is get them to watch God's not dead. It is a great movie that proves God and gets guys to think about the world around them. I best say this is a movie for you especially becaus you,though not close, match the
protagonists situation.
 
The problem is and I'm going to be honest with you, (Your friendship is broken) GOD is above all things in every form in all creation. Your responsilbility as well as mine is to do his will, so before you cast your pearls toward your friends (spirit filled words) ask GOD how he wants you to act on what you see and hear.Remember this doesn't offend you it offends GOD.
These are not your laws and you didn't write or create them.

HE already has the answer to solve your dilemma seek GOD first and allow HIM to produce the change that is needed thru you. You can't do GODS work because you don't know how, only he knows what needs to be done he has already seen it and solved it if it were to be solved.

(Example) Pharroah was made to be like he was by GOD HIMSELF so that when GOD showed HIS awsome devine power there were no mistake about who was in control. Even though he continued to hold onto GODS people, that was by GODS choice.

Just don't take the movie seriously as it doesn't reflect reality. : P

The nonbelievers in the movie do not accurately represent actual non-believers by any means. Nor does the movie prove God is real - it simply exists off the premise that he's real. I was disappointed at the sever lack of debate in the movie as it focused more on why people are atheist and how atheists are miserable and/or completely selfish people (and got both those points entirely wrong).

I really liked what HLR said. It's true YOU can't make them change that's Christ role in our lives, but what can be done is you being friends with them while still keeping what the bible says. Meaning if they ask you to do something that goes against what you believe than don't do it. Surely there's something you all like to do. You know be a friend, but always be God's person. Some years back I made friends with an atheist he turned into one of my best friends even before he got saved. See with all the LIES and RELIGIOUS WAYS in the world today; it's nice when you've got a real friend who loves, cares, and speaks the truth to ya. That only is most of the time more effective than any criticizing method anyone could do. You've done good so far by speaking your opinions. Now then stay true to your WORD and be a friend. Always here to talk about any other questions.
