Hello :-)
I just joined last night and am trying to get the hang of it here.

I don't really know what i'm "looking for" Just trying to learn to socialize again, I guess.
My lengthy "about me" section says quite a bit about me, my beliefs and reason for being here lol

I am looking for like minded friends.
I'm from Alaska :-)

I'm a single mom of 3 awesome older children.
We homeschool and we do use books , but we have an unschool approach to life.

I'm just starting to get to know myself again and don't really know what all to say to people lol
I just know I'm ready to start making friends again , so hello , I'm Becca and I'm trying :-)

Hey you come from a great state! Alaska is a beautiful place, full of one of my favourite creations of God...Snow! And of course everything else! Bless you dearly, and I hope you have an amazing time here on CC!

I read your profile and I cannot say I am like-minded, but I am glad you are here! I enjoy learning more about alternative perspectives to different things. Glad you found CC :)

Welcome to CC. Knowing what you want is not required; and this is a pretty good venue for making friends when real life options are limited. One of the best parts is talking to people with such different life experiences and sometimes as a result of that values and perspectives that your own assumptions are challenged. I find those relationships to be the ones that cause me to grow the most. (Though it's nice to know that often the majority around here will back me up).
