Hello!
I'm Niamh from Scotland, and I was saved on the 7th of April 2021. I am a new Christian, and have no fellow brothers/sisters of God in my family- so any advice is always appreciated!
I'm so glad to have found this site to meet some more people similar to me, and to discuss Christianity in more depth!

Well first off praise be to God for leading your heart to Our Heavenly Father🙏😀!
That is so very Great to hear, truly! Brings my heart joy just knowing this.

Secondly, welcome Niamh to Christian Chat, it's great that God lead you here. I'm guessing you have a Bible of your own, reading the word of God is such a Blessing and helps us to know the Heart of Almight God. Ask of him to guide you in your search for a good church (sounded like you are not currently in one) so that you might hear the true word of God and perhaps meet some meet some Good Godly friends. Listen to God in your heart and soul and hear his guidance. Follow he who has Blessed you to be lead on this Holy journey.

And of course, there is Christian Chat.

Listening to wh as t he whispers and tells you. Work on that relationship with God and in Jesus.

Great to have you have you here. I pray I will see your country one day, pictures I'm sure to not do it justice.

Congratulations, dear sister in the Lord! The enemy will try to confuse and distract you, but we will stand with you in prayer. Seek a closer walk with Him, and He will reward you...

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

He will draw nearer every day if you let Him. He has put His Spirit in us, but we must learn to listen to Him. I a so glad you came! Welcome to CC, Niamh!:):coffee:

I'm so glad to have Christian Chat as I currently have no Christian friends, so I'm so glad to have found this!
I pray you will get to see Scotland at some stage- I live in a highland village here, and I can imagine the way of life seems strange to many!

Thank you very much! I can't believe how much I have been changed in such a short period of time!

I love nature photography too! I always feel so thankful that the natural world is so stunning. I also am a sports photographer which is always challenging!

Your advice is very good, I am getting better at listening to Him the more time I spend in the Word, or in prayer!

Perhaps you don't have any friends local, but you have at least one here now😀.

Should you ever want to talk, if you put the @ sign, then a person's screen name, it will let them know they have been mentioned, like so @BlessedByGod . This would then send me (or if it is someone else, them of course) a message saying someone has tagged me in a message and I can go check it out. There is a general thread called The Chat Thread, which is for general purpose chat or communications that you can use to "talk" to others other share things with others.
Hope this helps in reaching out to others.
Would love to know about your highland village, if you don't mind sharing about it.🙂

Hey, God created the whole world in six days, so I'm not surprised. His grace truly is AMAZING!

Speaking of sports photography, the Bible Discussion Forum can be like a game of dodgeball, so there's that...lol.

That's really helpful to know I can mention people too!

I'd love to share! It's funny, sometimes things which I think are completely normal, others find strange! So for example, there is a Saturday market where people can buy cheese and produce off local farmers. The town is positioned in a valley so there are mountain ranges every direction you turn, which also leads to bad weather in the winter. We have highland games which take place in the Summer where there are dancers and pipers and stalls- it is like going back in time! :) A large amount of people do actually wear kilts just for everyday life, which seems strange in cities like Glasgow but completely normal here! It is 1 hour drive to the nearest city (and even then, it isn't even that big!) I love it here, and love talking about it even more!:)
