I'm struggling lately, I have been having this fear of God rejecting me... Because lately, I've been growing weary in my faith, I have no idea and I don't understand of how the holy spirit works, I insulted him without feeling sorrow, I haven't been following his commandments and I don't understand... What should I do? How do I know the spirit is in me or how do I let it enter me, how do I remove the evil with me, how do I trust the Lord in my changing of heart, so that finally, I can love him and love one another... It's scaring me

There are even times where I doubt what I really want, I don't know if I really want to love or is it hypocrisy, if I wanna serve the Lord or is it hypocrisy

Auknownperson, are you questioning your belief in God and Christ or just whether or not you want to follow Christ?

I can do those, but my heart... It's filled with selfishness and hate and sin, I have no idea how to take it away

YOU can't take it away, but GOD can. :) Take it all and give it all to Him. Ask Him to take away your selfishness, and hate, and to help you stop sinning..

For me...also a man, understanding came with knowledge. By understanding what we are, how the body and mind work, why we feel what we feel and want what we want, I can assess my desires and dismiss the “unholy” ones.

Our bodies are machines and our minds are programmed for a function, adapt and survive. Since part of the adaptation is to learn and respond, we are corruptable. It’s like downloading malware into a computer. There is more I have learned and how to hear God but it’s not like people think it is. If you want to hear more let me know.

By realizing that Jesus died for all of us, and took upon Himself, all of our individual sins on the cross. There is not a situation or feeling that we have felt, that Jesus also didn't feel. He knows the feeling of selfishness and hate, He even knows how it feels to sin, even though He never sinned Himself..

uhmm... I think i'm doing good now... I think it's because what Blue said, I reminded myself of God's promise, of Jesus's promise that he will never leave nor forsake me, I reminded myself of how Jesus died so that me and God can be reconciled, so that he can take it away... I thank him for always loving us... And I thank him for he gave me great people to help me... Seriously guys, thank you... Now I just pray that he helps the ones who suffered like me, and that this... Hypocrisy of mine will be gone so that I can love once again... And overall, thank you guys... God bless:)
