Ok, I know not all of you teens are quite there yet, but I've seen plenty of 17/18 year-olds floatin' around here =P

So, when is your graduation coming up? I have some friends in Canada who say America is like a month earlier than them lol. Do you have any honors? What are your plans after (both immediate and long-term)? Are you excited?? Ect.


My graduation is the 11th (2 more days!!!). There are only NINE people graduatin' here, and I'm #1 in the class lol. However, since I moved in from a different town a coupla weeks into the year, I don't get Valedictorian =( I don't need it though, because after High School, I'm going to UTD with a FULL SCHOLARSHIP, which also gives $1500 cash and $1000 towards housing a semester =D

Immediately after graduation, I'm not gonna go party with friends I don't think. Some of my family will be visiting, and I'm gonna come home and eat some steak, potatoes, and chocolate mint ice cream for desert. If I'm luck, my ex-gf's family will come over to see me graduate too, though I dunno how likely that is =/

As far as being excited, I don't think it's all sunk in yet. Some friends last night summed up my attitude towards everything, which is something along the lines of, "Yeah... It is what it is, whatever" lol. Can't wait to be out on my own, followin' ma own schedule (no "Hey, you're working all day today!" with no warnings when I first wake up one day, or going to bed at 10:30 when there's no school the next daym ect.).


So, what about you guys? ^_^
 
I'm graduating in July :p (I'm home schooled) and I have a year off to "explore," so no college for me :(, but I will be applying in the fall :D.

But since I'll have no "real" school associated work for a whole year, I'll attend college in 2011, I'll be taking online courses which supplement my current schoolwork.
 
I wish I waas there.
Something recently gaave me a reaason to waant to vanish ouut of High School :]

Also, can I call you sometime in the next few min's? Dad got up for some crazy reason, but I think he's goin back soon =P

But tomorrow, I'm not sure how that'll all work out. It'll have to be late afternoon/night where you are, because my afternoon is pretty packed. Friend's house after normal school time (though I dun have school anymore, woo), and then I'm going to a DIFFERENT town's graduation that night at 7:30 (5:30 your time). I'll prolly be back by 9, def 10, so 8:00+ your time would be good ^_^

Oh yeah, and I forgot, only nights and weekends... so it has to be 7:00+ your time anyway =S

After a week of planning, maybe we can FINALLY get 1 decent conv in =P =P

I graduated this year (:
Community College for a year or two..then I plan on going to Bible College, hopefully IBC!
Congratulations other graduates!
I always thought it was cliche, but it really is like a closing of one chapter and a beginning of an even better one!

Conglaturations matey! It sounds to me like you'll be getting a good schooling for sure! :)

Me? I'll be graduating from Year 12 (which of course is your 12th Grade ;)) in November, after the Higher Shool Certificate exams. After this I'll probably just update my resume and get a job. I haven't had a job in years! My first and only job, as a ball boy at the driving range, was really bad. All I came home with at the end of the day was $5 and a sore back... all out of 2 hours effort. Bliss.
 
I graduated from grade 12 back in June of 2008. It was epic! Haha do you guys do a prom or anything like that? That was a really good time.
 
I MISS HIGHSCHOOL! I wish I would have applied myself more, and would have found Jesus before. Oh well can't live in the past! Graduation was a blast! I miss it and Prom!
