We are so consumed by what we see with our eyes
That we’ve become paralyzed by lies
By TV, radio, our worldly possessions
That we don’t even hear the message
There is a storm coming
And our hearts are running
For fear of what lies beneath
Living with pain and grief
We mask the shame and pain
With unbelief and self-sustain
Ability, we lack humility
Corrupted by society
We hide from reality
Absorbed in MTV
Feeding off the paparazzi
Illusions of wealth and glam
But what about the great, I AM
The one who saved our souls from the hollow grave
To this world we’ve become a slave
This world meant to be
Our sanctuary, we live in disorder
Chaos has become the new world order
But every knee will bow and tongue confess
So anything you need to address
Get right with God before it’s too late
Only you can decide your fate
That we’ve become paralyzed by lies
By TV, radio, our worldly possessions
That we don’t even hear the message
There is a storm coming
And our hearts are running
For fear of what lies beneath
Living with pain and grief
