yeah, they were good. But Strongarm, especially the album Atonement. oh man. love on a disc. *drool. Saw those guys 7 times. Unashamed were awesome, and early Focused. The whole SFHC old school days had lots of cool HC.

I remember I had one strongarm album in the nineties. Couldn't tell you what it was but I liked it. I saw this band back then called crux. I saw them play live and got there album I think they put out one more record and that was it. There is a band I saw on one of those tooth and nail comp videos back in the day. I have the beginning of the song running through my head from time to time but can't remember the name of the band. It was a cool bass line and then the guitar would come in for a second and it would go back into the bass line till it kicked off. I'm sure that really helps describe it. lol. Someday I'll find it.
Dude, I totally found it. When you listed focused and those other bands my memory pulled out the name overcome. That song is Sacrificed by Overcome. You should check it out.
I have all Overcome released. Been listening to them since day one of hearing them, haha.
I have some Crux stuff as well... Failure To Yield. They also had one called Cakewalk.. And think one or two more. Before they were called Crux and got on a label they did some self releases under the moniker Empty Tomb.. Live Like A Dead Man / Raw / To Who It My Concern / Welcome To The Human Race.
There was also a Christian band called The Empty Tomb. More of that grind/splatter/death style. I think the guy that did it was kind of big in that secular scene and got saved. o.o
Yes sir, I saw them when failure to yield came out. I didn't like cakewalk as well. The singer was a trip long hair and side burns and a different style on the mic. I remember the bass player had a plaid pick guard on his bass. At that time they were one of the best Christian punk bands out. Them and the blamed. I had the pleasure of seeing the blamed a few times. I wasn't always walking with God so I hit that period around 94-97ish.
Yeah, i wasn't a fan of Cakewalk either. And the singer threw me off too, haha. And he had that weird high voice, but Failure was a cool album.
And The Blamed, i liked their first 2, 21 and umm.. that one you posted the other day. Forget it now.
I loved the blamed, I only caught them at the tail end of their career, but I loved their last two albums, saw them twice and they put on a killer show.
I first caught them when they first released the "frail" album. Awesome show. I had a friend who played in a side project with the drummer from the Crucified I don't know if they every got off the ground with that. I believe that was the drummer for the blamed though.
I know that drummer has done some other projects. Drawing a blank at the moment, as to which ones. Only one i can think of currently is the entire band, The Crucified, helped this rapper do a rap/metal album. XL & DBD. I guess they had to write the album in a rush, as well. Then XL got a touring band. All black guys haha.
