Apparently I’ll be getting this done soon. Has anyone else here had an electrocardiogram (ECG) or (EKG) before?
How was it for you?

I think they want to check me for cardiovascular disease.

I know my grandmother ended up getting a pacemaker later in life after her heart either failed or she had a heart attack…not sure which.

They decided to trust the strangers/Drs to do what they want. They gave her a stroke with high stroke risk drugs, did a bunch of dangerous surgeries and put her on 11 dangerous drugs after 70 days of ICU and expensive rehab hospital run by a murderer.

I’m not sure what financial incentives they are getting out of me since literally everything I get done to me or prescription wise is free.

I honestly sometimes think they are just keeping me alive so they don’t get the wrath of God for murdering a Christian lol but that is my thoughts on the matter.

I have come to terms that if I die, I die but I also believe that we have a good God that has our best interests and sometimes faith over fear wins the race.

Even if you are a veteran getting VA treatment and meds, it's never free. "Free" and "insured" are fish hooks with bait that some just can't resist. Every Dr, nurses, attendant, administrator, clerk, insurance agent, pharmacist, medical device company, food services, and drug companies get paid very well for every patient who walks through the door.

Apart of schizoaffective bipolar disorder is the deteriorating cognitive function.

Every day is a challenge for me.

All I can do is trust that God will get me out of this.

No worries. I have days like that too. I'm just trying to encourage you to get that book which goes into the more common cardiac challenges and explains them in layman's terms along with the treatments. It's a lot cheaper than any one thing a hospital has to offer, even if covered by insurance. Plus it provides peace of mind alleviating much of the unknowns. I also have seen some serious cardiac patients see healings that the cardiologists claim are impossible.

I will pray for your challenges.
You are a smart man. It's obvious in your writing since you joined. I know what it's like to have brain fog, etc too. I can empathize.

I thought my bipolar symptoms were gone but I’m currently experiencing them…probably that time to take my meds.

I was given a choice of invasive or non-invasive heart surgery but the two surgeons agreed that in my case the invasive would be better. I went with their recommendation but if I had it to do over again I think I'd go non-invasive as I'm not sure my heart or body will ever recover from having my chest split open.

How long has it been since the surgery?
I've recently been reminded how traumatic someone's experience was.

EKG takes about 5 minutes. Painless procedure.

An EKG is a nothing.....
The stress test? Well......ok they wouldn't let me run and my legs flat out are not long enough to go that fast without running..ESPECIALLY when I'm not allowed a drop of coffee that morning. My Evinrude(boat motor) is cold blooded....hard to start and very easy for me to take a nap. I need caffeine just to stay awake.

The sonogram? Ok....big guy plays big spoon while you get to play little spoon while he measures all the vessels and chambers in your heart.

My result was my right side is stronger and larger than my left. (Backwards) but everything is clear and clean and I'm gonna live a very very long time....unless something else kills me like a bunch of angry atheists or something.

You are most likely correct. My dad is or was an atheist (told me he doesn’t believe in God and there is nothing I can do to change his mind) and he literally almost brutally beat my mother to death when I was 5 years old.

Several times. The hard part is ripping the sticky patches off, especially if you are hairy chested. Alcohol based sanitiser help dissolve the glue.
