I like natural and I like good health practices.

Dry body brushing, have you heard of it? Are you doing it? If so, please share your methods, benefits & opinion.

It will change the appearance of your skin texture. There may be benefit to lightly sagging skin, cellulite, stretch marks. It actually gives me energy in an rested vibrancy sort of way, refreshing, is a good word. Google about the detoxifying and exfoliation benefits.

I couple this practice with a daily supplement called Skin Restoring Phytoceramides with Lipowheat, by LifeExtension. And, oil massage, I use cosmetic grapeseed oil or castor oil from healthfood store.

I have done dry body srubbing too...it is good for your skin..it was abit strange the first few times I did it tho....being a man and all...

Yeah, before showering is a way of practice for most. I used to do it at night, which I like and would prefer, if it didn't make it so hard for me to fall asleep! So, I do it in the morning.

Haha, my Mom said she felt strange doing it too. I didn't/don't, but the first few times it didn't feel good, harsh, but I read that would change and it did after five days or so.

Let me see if I can post a blog I read early on just prior to starting. I heard of it some how, then months later I bought a brush when I was driving through Utah and stopped by a place I mentioned, the spirit goat. But they are available at target, $5.

I like the body brushing and will do it every morning with a shower. It truly does stimulate the nerves and cells to "awaken".
I use a toilet brush (new, of course) which has a nice long handle on it and nice brissles. When brushing, all brush in the direction of your heart. It helps to get the heart pumping as well.
