What we write on these Christian Forums is read not only by Forum members, but hundreds of visitors read these. They are not being read just this day or week, but they are online for years. A year or so ago I was doing an online search on a biblical matter. I began to read one of the search results, and thought, this sure sounds familiar. When I checked, it was one of my own posts that came up with an answer to a related matter. It is not just those who are reading the Forum today, it can be read for years by Christians and non-Christians alike. I saw somewhere on this Forum where we are warned about this, but I wonder how well we keep it in mind?

But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. (Matt 12:36-37)

Let no evil talk come out of your mouths, but only what is useful for building up, as there is need, so that your words may give grace to those who hear. (Eph 4:29)

On the last day, we know we will answer for what we say to others as well as post online.

For no one can lay any foundation other than the one that has been laid; that foundation is Jesus Christ. Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw— the work of each builder will become visible, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each has done. If what has been built on the foundation survives, the builder will receive a reward. If the work is burned up, the builder will suffer loss; the builder will be saved, but only as through fire. (1Cor 3:11-15)

I consider each post that I submit but don't agonize over it. Mainly I come for the coffee and donuts in the Singles Forum.

Hopefully, the majority of those participating present Scripture + interpretation. It's the interpretation that most generally gets discussed. There's the evidence that can be presented from the Disciples of the Apostles [Disciples of Jesus Christ Himself], Church Father's, Theologians, Scholars, Authors of Doctrine, Personal and hopefully God's true intentions.

What does quickly become apparent are the training methods Doctrinal teaching have installed in the students to use against opposing evidence. It's these methods that can quickly turn a yes and no Thread into a multiple page nightmare. Ultimately what's revealed is denial.

But there's truly entertainment or complete dillusional value when you can turn a simple Verse like {[(Jesus wept)]} into a 20 page debate over He was saddened to He possibly stubbed His big toe. Because you can never know what type of response will be given and they will unfortunately all be given. And shockingly will be given with someone's personal beliefs.
