Demon finally gone

I've encountered a demon who called herself Filkisilk. She a dream demon, and I encountered her in my dreams months after being held down in my bed. When K was held down, I was unable to see, move, or talk. When I encountered her in my dream, I couldn't move and I had trouble talking. I managed to move my arms and hands to make my fingers into a cross and managed to get to utter The Lord's Prayers. The demon was scared and was gone for some time. She returned later and I think she might have brought her demon friends/backup after a few a few months.

I decided that it was time to get rid of her and the other demons forever this time. I got water and blessed it to make into Holy Water and put it all around the house. Now I believe these demons will never come back.
 
I see why you'd think that, but trust me, if I gave you the WHOLE story, you would know for a fact that it was a demon.

Trust me, no story will ever convince me that demons enter people's dreams, paralyze them and making crosses with your finger and holy water got rid of them. That's more Hollywood than anything. Not even Jesus and His apostles used holy water and crosses. That's not even biblical.
 
Mark 16:7 In my name they will drive out demons

While I believe it is possible that you encountered a demon, I don't believe your 'holy water' and crossed fingers are what's prescribed to get rid of it.
 
I don't buy into the holy water and cross bit but demons do torment people. People are so drawn into this world that they fail to see the spiritual war that is going on.

I have been tormented by the enemy, and that even includes at night when I was in bed. I dont doubt that happened, but I do agree with the holy water bit. I can guarantee anyone that these beings are not afraid of blessed water and crosses. They are material things and do not do anything for you. God is not in the water and carved wood. I believe that these beings would lead someone to believe that material things saved them, though. So that people will put their faith into them over actually reaching out to their creator.

I dont believe the holy water saved you. And I wouldnt doubt that this being is still following you, merely trying to deceive you in some way.

If that happened to me i would be calling out to the LORD Jesus Christ for help.. If i could not say it with my mouth i would be calling out to him in my mind..

I would also be really self assessing my beliefs and reading the Gospels to make sure i believed Jesus and truly trusted in the Atonement He secured for my salvation..
 
Ok...I'm not going to judge about if this was demonic activity or if you did the right thing...I hope you're sleeping better! not sleeping at night sucks :)
 
Fighting superstition with superstition?? I doubt that if its as a demon that its gone. If it was a demon he may pretend to be gone for a while but they dont give a dime about ''holy water'' the only thing that works is the Sword of God, his spoken word.
 
I totally believe u and KNOW U R RIGHT ABOUT IT BEING A DEMON, AND WHO EVER DOESNT BELIEVE U, IS JUST VERY LUCKY THAT THEY THEMSEVES HAVE NEVER HAD TO BATTLE A DEMON IN THEIR LIFE!!!
 
Whatever supernatural battles we may find ourselves in, we are to call upon the One who rebukes the demons to do battle for us. We should NEVER take on evil spirits on our own (or go on the offense against them directly). We are to defend ourselves using the whole armor of God.

I was going to argue with you, but since you dragged up a 4 month old thread, where the OP hasn't logged in since the day he posted this. And also used the caps lock, as well as judge that anyone who disagrees as having never to have battled a demon, despite your not knowing a single one of these people, or what they have experienced, i decided to agree with you. /hopes the thick sarcasm was detected

Well, great. Not only have you reduced this down to "luck," and "everyone else has never had to battle demons," (which is good, since no one can beat one, except God), you're giving this "valved" opinion to someone who hasn't been back on since she gave us the ghost story last August.
