People don't want, to give up their sin
I'm not that bad , I have God within
They go to church, and sit in the pew
listen to the preacher , talk to the crew
It's not enough, to go and listen
Help the poor , let your light glisten
Read for your self , what does God say
Reflect on the word, live it and pray
The world today , is filled with bad
On tv movies, games and ads
You might not like, what I have to say
Just mention Gods name, and the sinners wont stay
They will laugh mock , and say we are dumb
But where we are going , they cant come
We will sacrifice our feelings, for their souls
Because we love them, even though they are cold
We don't want to leave , our love ones behind
We want them to join us, find Jesus be kind
Do one to others, as you would like done unto you
Those people used to be many , now seem few
You can lie cheat steel ,all you need
But without Gods help, you wont truly feed
That unquenchable thirst , that is called greed
When you give to the poor, it feeds your soul
So why is it , you hide your gold
Do not do good deeds , in front of men
For your reward, will be with them
I've never been happier , than wen I help
I really feel sorry , for those who haven't felt
The love of God , cant be explained
We cant give it, a good enough name
It doesn't take much , to let God in
" I believe in Jesus" , and turn from sin
Turning from sin , is hard to do
That is why Jesus , died for YOU
The devil is strong, he hides in the shadows
With Gods light , he is driven to the gallows
I love You Jesus, I will do my best
I need Your word , to pass the test
I'm turning from sin ,and it makes me glad
Family says they love me , but it makes them mad
The person I was , will be no more
Change for the better, is what I search for
You claim to be smart, yet do not see
The love of God , could be with thee
Seek and you will find, a door will be opened
For God loves us all , not just the chosen
I'm as stubborn as a mule , people will say
He must love me a lot , to show me the way
I've prayed for things , that never came to fruition
I really think that's , a human tradition
Though God didn't answer , your prayer your way
Everything happens for a reason, He would say
The hardest lessons I've learned, were the best for me
Even though they cost me, some loved family
Up in Heaven, I hope to see them some day
For I love God , and will continue to pray
miss you Pop Pop , Uncle Ken , Kenny ,Faith, and Christian see you some day!
