are your little ones giving you hints regarding what they would like santa to bring them?my sons an expert at this.i think its quite cute.

I don't want nothing for Christmas. I got too much stuff already.

I don't know what to get for anybody I know. They already got everything they need and everything (that I can afford) that they might want.)

I ain't no Christmas hater, but I HAVE pretty much stalled out on the buying stuff aspect. What's a boy to do? NOT DO PRESENTS?! That's blasphemous!

For adults I buy something they need. For my nephews I give money, they know what they need. Hubby and I have more than we need. Spending time together and with family, hopefully make it to church, that's all we need for Christmas.

I totally agree @Lynx and @ThereRoseaLamb - we humans have too much 'stuff' and it gets in the way of the spiritual and what is truly important. My husband and I give each other presents but we tell everyone else - including our children - to donate to charity we do the same. We buy for the grandchildren (of course!) and maybe some small presents for the children - a bottle of something perhaps but they have everything they need and don't need to give and receive gifts to appreciate the wonder of God's love and our love for each other.

Do children have enough toys? When is enough enough?

My granddaughter in law caught my 4yo great grandson climbing over a stack of 5 storage containers of toys looking "for more hot wheels to play with". He already had about 50 scattered all over his bedroom floor.

I bet you can't guess what he wants for Christmas?
