P
CAN WE CHRISTIANS, SEE CHRISTIAN MOVIES LIKE Passion of Christ etc.......
"I am free to do all things; but not all things are wise. I am free to do all things; but I will not let myself come under the power of any." 1 Corinthians 6.12
You can see all the movies. But you are free to say no to any movie.
I haven't seen the problem in the movie "Passion of Christ." This movie showed the world the unconditional love of Christ around the world. Even if the director or actor doesn't believe in Christ or have any heresy in this film, I believe that many people wanted to know more about this Jesus Christ who died on that cross after watching this movie.
The Passion of Christ focused on The Lords physical suffering, when most of his suffering was through sorrow and the Fact the God the Father turned his back on Him because he had taken on the sins of the Word. That is why Jesus cried out, "My God, why hast thou forsaken me.' Hey I apreciate the fact that Jesus suffered and died for me and I believe that He went through a lot of pain, but that fact alone will not win people to Christ. You have to come to repentance. And they made little or no reference to sin and judgement.
People my think by simpathizing with the Lords suffering gets them into the pearly gates. But what did Jesus say about this before he was crucified?
Luke 23:28 And Jesus turned unto them and said,Daughters of Jerusalum, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.
You see Christ has arrose and we no longer need to morn his death, but be sorrowful for all the people who are lost.
You say it don't matter if the people who act out the movie are Christians or not, well the Bible says that a bad tree can't produce good fruit.
yeah i heard about that.. thats crazy!!!! how could they let such people be in (whats supposed to be) a holy movie! ugh.. well its okay for us christians to watch movies buuuuut its also dangerous to be watching all sorts of movies.. cuz we could start acting on it or getting addicted to whatever the movie portrayed.. we just should think before watching that movie
Fireproof was a good movie. Anyone? yeah? no? lol.
YAY! Another invisible vote for fireproofI've watched Fireproof. It was very good.
How could God let His only son to save such people (prostitutes, sinners, tax collectors, thieves, etc) so they can enter a holy place called heaven?
If you start judging a product based on the background of the person who made it, sooner or later you cannot enjoy any product at all. Because, we all fall short. We all sin.
Take it as what it is.. I am blessed watching The Passion.. because, I realized how much pain and struggle Jesus had to endure for people like me and you.
Be afraid of becoming a legalistic christian.. those are the people Jesus rebuked the most.
There is a difference between legalism and obedience. Yes the pharasees were legalistic. But they also didn't believe that Jesus was the Son of God. There is such a thing as being legalistic, but there is also such a thing of not being ignorant of Satan's devices.
Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 2 Corinthians 2:11
Personally, I liked Amazing Grace.
fireproof is very good!
Facing the Giants is my all time favorite movie!![]()
