So hi.

What's your opinion about reading i guess paranormal books? I mean the thriller ones, the creepy scary ones with ghosts and stuff like that.
I mean i really like reading that stuff, it's exciting and all, but is it good to read those stories?
Need some help on this topic :\ Feel as it's not really right to do myself.
 
I used to love horror films as a non Christian..........I used to enjoy the buzz, watching with friends and not being able to sleep well after, listening for noises downstairs etc. I still would think some of them were enjoyable if I watched them, but they're definitely not helpful. eg one of my faves was paranormal activity, were talking full on demonic possesion, and occult goings on. There's enough sin we do unknowingly, without giving the enemy such a foothold in our lives.
Obviously we can still watch/read these things, but they're not beneficial, if nothing else it breeds fear.............

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.
