Hello One and All!!!
I hope all is well with you, and I hope you are having a lovely and wonderful day/afternoon/night wherever you are located. If this is your first time reading my blog, you are more than welcome. Allow me to introduce myself:
I live in the United States. Both sides of my family are from the island of Barbados. My father and his family came to the states back in 1976, and my mother and the rest of her family came to the states back in 1979. In 2005, I lost my mother when I was 18 years old and still in high school. I have graduated with my degree, and a year later, moved away to live with my father and spend more time with the rest of my family.
I have an associates degree in social work and I am currently in school again earning my bachelors degree in psychology with a minor in social work (I will talk about why I switched majors in another blog). When I get out of college, I would like to start working in the social work field to work with children, however, I will also try to get into graduate school so that I can earn a masters degree in social work.
When I'm not studying for exams and completing assignments, I like to watch TV, movies, read books, talk to my friends and family, roller skate, ice skate, write my feelings in a diary (don't judge me) and go out for long drives.
I have joined Christian Chat on October 3, 2013. Although I haven't been on this site as often as anticipated due to being busy with school and work, I will try to be as active and post more blogs on this website.
