I couldn't find a general Bible forum, so posting on here.

Post a Bible verse that stood out for you today an, if you wish, a practical application for that verse.

I'll start, today I read John 8:12 "When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life ."
I think light and darkness is a representation of the kingdom of God as the light and things of this world as darkness. We walk in the light when we seek the kingdom of God first as Jesus did and do not conform with the world.

2 Corinthians 6:14
14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Romans 2:29
But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

John 11:25
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

Yes, and in John 1:1-13 we find the light identified with GW, through Whom creation exists and humanity may be saved
or spiritually reborn as children of God if they believe in Him (cf. John 3:3-7&16), but many choose not to love Him and
remain condemned, because they choose to love evil/believe the devil (John 3:18-20, cf. Gen. 3:4).

Matthew 3: 7 - 9
But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:
And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

Matthew 28:19
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
