We're in a lot of trouble when we have to rely on the judiciary to protect us from the executive branch.
That is the very concept behind checks and balances and we have relied on this since the US constitution was ratified.

Well, why would you assume that when you yourself started the comment with a generality?
Because if you did, i would pull a page from the liberal school of thought and say: SOURCE?
Which in itself is a dumb path to follow anyway since sources today are nothing but politicized opinions and it's up to the person to say the essence of the understanding of the situation after discerning all the show talking points from both sides.

The essence of the current situation is again very simple as i've said before.
Trump is here because the left is no longer in reality and it's borderline lunacy.

So what can we learn from this?
We can learn that you can have different layers of expression in order to have a normal conversation.
Here are some high level points:

* Try to avoid comparing anything (including Trump) to Hitler. That's a bad move usually.
* If you acknowledge that Trump is here because the left is worse, try to add that in your argument so people can see that you're being reasonable and then you can discuss in gentleman-fashion the finer points of whatever you'd like to discuss.
* Try to provide some data, while also acknowledging that data is not always accurate. This shows maturity in your understanding.
* Try to avoid one-liners you give to others so when you receive them yourself, you don't confuse them with "trolling".

So in general try to be more balanced in the conversation, in order to have a normal conversation.
I have acknowledged that the Democrats need to get their heads out of their rear ends if they don't want to continue losing elections..
I don't think Trump is Hitler but I do believe he's a doo doo spewing demagogue
And it shouldn't have taken that long of a big song and dance to get you to simply State your argument so I could respond to it

Well I'm thinking it should be a crime for a presidential organization to defy a supreme court order but since supreme Court gave president's immunity to criminal prosecution and there's really not any more reason for supreme Court to exist
I'm thinking it's pretty hard to believe that people voted in a bunch of lawless thugs like this to begin with.

Sometimes when you take the long path you remember things better.
Also your demagogue comment is again not very fair because the left can also be said to be demagogues in confusing children's education and people's gender.
So again, try to look at the whole picture.

Yes, the tariffs will crash the global economy and the US dollar will go up in flames along with the global economy. I agree with that, but that does not mean I blame Trump. I compare this to a giant oil tanker hitting the rocks. When you hit the rocks if you are the skipper you are not supposed to turn it off the rocks. If you do that it will fill up with water, roll on you and probably kill those on board. Instead you are to go full throttle to run the ship onto the rocks. That will keep the ship from sinking and give those on board the best chance of survival. What Trump is doing with the tariffs to me is the skipper going full throttle to get the ship hung up on the rocks. It is very possible that they did an assessment as soon as he took office and concluded there was no way to keep the US from going bust. If that is the case the blame for hitting the rocks goes on those who came before him. Then they may have decided that if the US is going bust we have to take the Chinese economy with us as that is the least desirable successor to the Petro dollar.

Ignoring a supreme court order should at least be grounds for impeachment but thing is supreme Court literally removed their own teeth once they gave president's immunity to criminal prosecution
Ignoring an unconstitutional SCOTUS order is how it's supposed to work. If the Judiciary attempts to exercise Article II powers, the order not only should, but *must* be ignored.

See @Dude653 ?
What @NightTwister said in the above posts would be about talking about finer points, sources and accuracy during a certain point in the discussion after higher level points have been mentioned.
Which you can discuss in gentleman-like fashion if you try to be fair after looking at all sources.

Because as the saying goes: There are two sides to every story. After you hear both sides, then make up your mind.

I made up my mind on the simple concept that : The citizens of a country comes first. I see no reasons why we need to elevate an illegal, or even a permanent resident with a green card. The general understanding of every nation is that all newcomers need to adapt to the culture and respect the laws of the said nation. Not to bring their old country into the new country.
This is also something that Fareed Zachara a CNN pundit has said on his show.
You are welcome to discuss this if you'd like and change my understanding and we can also discuss the finer points, but i again advise you to be as fair as possible when you look at the whole picture.
